A foul talking teddy bear became one of the biggest movies of the year and it looks like we will be getting a lot more Ted sooner than we expect. Audiences fell in love with director Seth MacFarlane's Ted this past summer and helped turn it into the highest grossing R-rated comedy of all time bringing in over half a billion dollars worldwide. Star Mark Wahlberg recently revealed on Anderson Live that the deal for a sequel is already done and the script is currently in the works. This will be the first sequel that Wahlberg has signed on to and credits his confidence in MacFarlane's talent on the reason for signing on. No word yet on what the plot will be or when we can expect to see it in theaters, but we won't have to wait until then to see Ted and Wahlberg reunite. Wahlberg also announced that he and his stuffed co-star will be making an appearance at this year's Academy Awards. Makes complete sense considering creator MacFarlane is hosting the event. We're not sure if they will be appearing as presenters or possibly in an opening video, but we will all find out on February 24th when the Oscars air live. So are you excited to hear that Ted will be getting a sequel and do you plan on tuning in to see him and Wahlberg on the Oscars? Let us know below or tweet us @ClevverMovies. I'm Erin Darling in Hollywood, thanks for watching.
